Butlins Minehead Tour 2024 | Building the Skypark | Let's explore Minehead Butlin's Funfair at night

Journey around Butlin's Minehead with me. Visiting during the Easter holidays in 2024, I saw lots of changes and lots of building works. There appears to be a massive amount of investment into the site. Most noticeably creating the new Skypark and the new Play Experience.

As I was staying during the school holidays there was a late night fun fair and I had chance to see the chair o plane, helter-skelter, carrousel, dodgems and tug boat ride all lit up.

I used to go from the 70s until 1985. I went on 1999 and it was terrible. Outside pool gone. Monorail gone. Cable cars gone. All the competitions like dancing and fancy dress, talent shows gone. Just a pavilion with a big empty space inside. And an Irish pub that didn't sell Guinness.

studio 36 is now back working, they had to work on it as its not temp no more, its staying for good!

that playxperience is gonna skyrocket the cost of a holiday to butlins - have you seen the token prices? you could holiday for a week in the USA for the cost of a day at playxperience lol - keyword? let's say Butlins ?
