It's been hard going through high school in asia and barely passing with a diagnosis but no medication (since adhd meds are banned in our country), and it's even tougher now in university. But thankfully we have people like you who get it and help with these videos. Thanks again!

Note: I was diagnosed with what was called a bad dose of ADD - the Shrink telling me this told me in a soft voice and with the look on her face it literally looked and sounded like she was giving someone a month to live. This was when I was about 48 yrs old. I clearly remember barely getting through school cuz I simply could not even do my homework not alone study - My mom and dad tries hard for a couple of years to no avail. The more I tried the harder it was to the point of my mind going numb and my stomach rolling almost to the point of puking. When I was 17 I started to study literally out of the box on things/subjects that were interesting to me - and the difference was staggering, looking back. I slowly kept studying outa the box over time and in 79 we moved and a year or so later found a GP that did not push scripts a Holistic/Integrative he was. After my intake he suggested that I go to the library and see what smoking does to people and a couple of weeks later I did so. Well some of the first things I learned was to protect myself with sufficient amounts of nutrition and supplements were required. I found all of this so interesting I have never stopped studying various aspects of, I guess what is now called Functional Medicine as well as other interests. Some Skilled ADD/ADHD doctors say that we can Hyper Focus and some simply do not mention it - I surely can as I found out back when I started outa the box when I was 17. Thanks for your help as I have neuropath blockages for Dopamine and Gaba, no doubt in certain parts of my brain. I still have Dr. Amen's book from about 90/Healing ADD. Rock on👍👍

I failed two classes, both I passed later. I blame my time management skills more than anything, because it was hard for me to study so much info at once.

All of the study tips vídeos i've been watching said that i should not make my own notes, since it takes too much time, but when you talk about how you make you're own mini mind maps and then put then All together, it makes me see that i Just have to stop using neutotipical People advice on how to study. Thaks for The advice.

Creating a practice test is a hreat idea. I have to read a book for a class, and as I am reading/listening, I have had moments where some details pop out, almost in question form, as if I can envision a question that has that as an answer. I will have to write them down as they come to me.

I got a degree from a top university in the U.K, in Maths & computer science in 1999 aged 20, pgdip from a university in London there was Statistics, economics and finance in 2000, I was undiagnosed with dyspraxia, ADHD and Aspergers traits .
I found the learning style Hard in computer science, change from maths in school to theorems, proofs and examples, memorising and understanding, postgraduate too much to memorise, little prior background. I have low self esteem, low self worth .Is this expected ? The psychiatrist who diagnosed me with ADHD, said very very good for getting a degree with undiagnosed ADHD, if I had treated ADHD, probably got a 1st class degree or close, the psychologist who diagnosed me with dyspraxia said either very intelligent or very hard working to get a degree with undiagnosed dyspraxia.
I have a statistics qualification, skills in data Analysis, computer programming, web development. I have a poor work history.
I own a property getting rent around $700 / month equivalent in the U.K.
I am aged 43, 44 in September, I received my diagnosis of ADHD August 2020, aged 41, just given medication, dyspraxia aged 33, May 2012, Aspergers traits aged 25, early 2004.
I am inventing games, best thing self employment, creativity ?
What is your advice ? My chances of being employed are very low ?

Funnily enough, if I were to change the date to an earlier date, I would probably forget the actual date of the exam lmao
