So here’s the deal. I’ve got a big soft spot for the Ibis HD series. I owned an HD4 back in the day and absolutely loved that bike. So to say I have high hopes for the HD6 would be a bit of an understatement. So does the new Ibis enduro bike live up to my expectations? Stick around to find out.

It seems criminally unfair how good your vids are compared to the subs and views you get. I’m gonna make a point to shoutout your channel whenever I can. Keep up the great work

Your reviews are reaching the next level, I must say. Thank you for being technical, and I appreciate the thought and effort you put into these reviews. You should have more subscribers for sure!!

I'm glad I'm broke right now....otherwise I would have wasted my money on a different bike before seeing this!! Really keen to see these things in Aus...looks awesome and super appealing!
Also, the videos are too notch mate, you are definitely one of my go to channels for any new bikes!!

Thanks for another great video. This bike is beautiful! and this is easily Ibis' best looking bike ever. This bike is a serious candidate to replace my MegatowerV2! I do love the MegaV2, but I am looking more of a Trail Worthy Bike as opposed to a pure Enduro and Park Bike like the MegaV2 is. I do miss the nice trail manners of my RipmoV1, to me that was the best all around peddling trail-bike that I have ever owned. My MegaV2 seems to be just more draggy and harder to pedal on long days than the RipmoV1. I do love the Mega at the DH parks and in the rowdy section, but even then, it is still not as plush and park worthy as a DH bike. Now that I have 2 DH bikes, I feel like the MegaV2 does NOT have a place in my stable anymore, and I should replace it with this bike. I prefer Mullet Bikes for the parks anyways, so another reason to replace the MegaV2 with this bike.

Wish I didn't see this video. I've had an HD5 for 3 years now and love it. The mullet interests me very much. Not a fan of 29ers. My last bike was a 29er and I've demoed several. Never ridden a mullet, though. I like Ibis bikes and Chuck seems like a nice guy. I met him once and he sent me an email saying he appreciated my story of my rheumatoid arthritis and how I ended up getting an HD5. He said he would send it out to all his employees.

Im super happy you were the first person I saw drop a review for this bike. Best reviews. Coolest bike of the year so far. This one is going to be a HIT.

I love Ibis bikes and have owned several over the years. I can't really justify this bike for me personally anymore but I can see why others would love it. At my age, if I were looking for anything with this much travel, it would be of the "e" variety. Excellent video as always. Really appreciate the content!

They need to give the straight top tube treatment to the ripmo and ripley too. This is the best looking Ibis ever, hands down.

Definitely need to demo one of these. Interested to see just how smooth it is over chatter compared to horst link bikes, the Ripmo is definitely not the world's smoothest bike over chattery trails and braking bumps. Also sounds like it corners better than the Ripmo which has a notoriously vague front end.

I really like your thoughts on this bike is good for the regular guy that wants to participate in a enduro race but not be committed to a full enduro monster bike - I feel like that’s a lot mountain bikers

Looks nice. Love the two tone paint job. The orange and green looks fresh.
I own a HD4. But I just bought a Santa Cruz Hightower V3 to replace it. Don't really need the big travel

Wish you could get your hands on the nomad v6 to compare. Would be a really close battle other than in frame storage, higher stack and all that good stuff! Another great edit! Btw tried the 150 lyrik on the 5010..liked it but way more fun once i put the pike back on.

Great review! Seems that Ibis managed to make a long travel bike with a very wide range of use. Enough travel for the rough stuff but short enough yo be fun on the tight stuff.

Thanks for the informative video. I, also, can't help but wish they slapped in the ole storage compartment, as well as perhaps some geo adjustments and a 29 compatible rear end perhaps.

Dropper post insertion is a big priority for me. My Size L Norco Range easily fits my 240mm One Up dropper. At 6'4", I'm very pleased with that. I typically have to settle with 210mm droppers.
