I Can't Like Videos On TikTok (Help Me!)

Liking on TikTok allows you to show the creator of the video that you enjoyed their post and want to see more of it. It's a simple gesture that's mimicked on practically every social media platform out there.

However, what do you do if you can't like on TikTok. If the like button isn't working for you the most likely reason is because you've liked too many videos in a short period of time. If you've gone through the list of videos on a certain profile and liked every one of their videos over and over then the TikTok algorithm may think you're trying to game the algorithm or you're a bot. In that case, they may suspend your ability to like videos. Usually, this suspension lasts about 24 hours for the first time and can last longer if you keep violating the policy.

The best thing I recommend is to take a break, slow down liking videos and take time to comment and interact with videos in ways other than liking. This works for both iPhone iOS and Android.

Yo can someone help me. Over the past few days for whatever reason half of my liked videos completely disappear from my liked videos and when I go to like something it likes it but doesn’t go to my liked section. Is anybody else having this issue?

What if I can like videos, but the app delete the 'likes' and says I didn't 'like' them and doesn't save it to my liked videos? (Doesn't say I can't like any videos or make a big show of it, it doesn't save the videos)

Edit: Had this issue for a week before my account got banned without warning, now my brand new account has the same problem.

Hello there! I recently found this video cuz I have been having this issue since yesterday and it's still going on right now today. Usually I like three to four videos a day I don't like much. But this is helping me out a lot maybe I should just slow down on the liking and suggest comment a bit. Maybe that would help. If this is still going on for me I still might need your help again!

ive been using the tiktok site, on my laptop as i cant download the app, and when i like a video, it shows the red heart, but a few seconds later it goes back to being unliked. Also, when i like a comment and i refresh the page, all the comments i liked become unliked again. I never got that notice abt liking too fast so im wondering, am i having the same problem and it just didn't give me the notice? or is it smth else??
