"By 2.6 to 3.6 million years ago Megaladon was..."
Me: "don't say it. Don't you dare say it."
"MegalaGONE!"
Me: "he said it!"

Watching Michael's hair journey has been my favorite part.

Poor things have been dead for over 2 million years and we're still judging their parenting skills. Typical of social media tbh.

I like how you can see Michael's hair evolve over the years on this channel

I got to hold a real megalodon tooth a few years ago and I just couldn’t wrap my head around how ancient it was.
A woman had been using it as a letter opener without realising that it was real 🤦🏻‍♀️

Charleston, SC was an ancient nursery. We have found lots of large teeth there also!
Long time subscriber here, enjoy your channel!

Aaah that's the kind of content I like: Scientific facts and bad puns 😄

Thanks guys, interesting as always.

1. That's fascinating! I'm curious to know other adaptations animals developed that gave them a leg up, then eventually tore them down.
2. Michael's hair is the most dynamic member of the Sci Show cast. His hair can do no wrong. Change my mind

It’s $1 for a regular incisor from the Tooth Fairy and megabucks for that megalmolar!

Michael your voice is so soothing, thank you for hosting these videos. There is something disarming about your pitch and delivery it always comforts me.

This hypothesis of why megladon dissappeared and got extinct. Needing the nurseries places for 20+ years before they became adult is much longer than other sharks and if great white sharks used them and adult glreat white sharks easily got in there it would be a problem for a young unexperienced megladon that might be able to compete and might have died.

But did the megalodon parents buy their food at Mega Lo Mart?

This entire video was made just for that pun. And it was worth it
