Ardennes American Cemetary, Liège, Belgium

Показать описание
On a recent trip to the battlefields of World War II, to honor my father Private John F Flynn Jr. participation in the defeat of Hitlers Germany. My dad's unit the 76th Infantry Division, 304th Infantry Battalion, attached to Patton's 3rd Army Group participated in the relief of Bastone, during Ardennes Offensive (The Battel of the Bulge).
After the relief of Bastogne, they then pushed on to defeat the Nazis in the 2,000-year-old city of Echternach Luxembourg in February 1945.
Before returning home I stopped in Liège, Belgium, at the Ardennes American Cemetary to honor our sacred dead.
