The ally x while being better in terms of specs, it also just looks so much cleaner and simpler with the matte black finish. The white can look nice in certain circumstances and the original ally was one of them, but me personally I just disliked the white color alot. Also is that lamp supposed to look like a nuke or 😭

i mean i know the ally 2 will have the better screen probably, but the only thing that misses the mark for me is the screen is the size. everything else is fantastic. if you dont want to have a built in trackpad, at least make the screen big enough to touch things on it for quick gestures. the screen is too small. wish they went to an 8 inch screen. i can sacrifice oled for an 8 inch screen.

Dope stuff man. I had the Steam Deck, Rog Ally and The Legion Go. The Rog Ally is definitely better than the Steam Deck. I got the Legion Go. I'm loving that handheld.. It just the software needs to get a lot better. Which good news is Legion Space is currently improving..

The one thing that will always draw me back to the steam deck is the control factor. Steam input is wild. Virtual menus etc. Enables me to play stuff with more complicated input schemes such as deus ex etc.

I'm strongly thinking about upgrading from my LCD SteamDeck to the Legion Go but all the reviews for it are out dated, I think there's been some major software updates that have made the experience better and I'd love to see an updated review from you! ☺

I dont remember if you ever tried a Ryzen 7745HS / 8845HS but the U series is 30 watts and after that more power is just wasted. The HS is 50-60 Watts with CPU and GPU fully utilized. I would love to see a vid about the differences of U vs HS. Not many companies sell the hs in a 14" at all.

One of your videos actually convined to go with the rog ally instead of the legion. It's really funny to me you mention the finals since that happens to be the same shooter I'm playing and was most concerned about running smoothly on the Ally. I'm really glad I saw your video I think the Ally is just more polished than the legion I don't think ill upgrade as I'm really happy with the performance of mine, but I'm heavily reconsidering because the black case looks fire.
