When I started airbrushing on gundam kits, clogged needle was the main issue I encountered with Vallejo acrylic range. Even with Air. I have since learned to add the good quantity of flow improver first, and sometimes, mainly for primer or thicker paint, a few drops of thinner, and now, after a few months of practice and experience, I manage to make very smooth, satisfying surfaces. Once mastered those colors are truly perfect. You have to learn how to use them, but those odourless paints are excellent IMO, with a few tips, tutorials... and patience. I really wish I had watched this video a few months ago 😃 thank you!

Some interesting solutions for common problems. I've always sprayed at 1 bar or less, consequently I've struggled to get Model Air to spray without a few drops of thinner. Now I know why.
A video on how to paint the wrecked car model at the end would be awesome!

Excellent instructional tutorial as I have just started airbrushing and experienced most of the issues raised. Although Ive saved this video, I will actually keep it open in a tab all the time for easy regular access

I’ve been using Vallejo Model Air paints and found that with 5 drops of paint, 1 drop of flow improver, and 1 drop of thinner is a sweet spot with my airbrush and it uses all the paint in the reservoir. Makes clean up a breeze. I use either a 5 drop or 10 drop mix to keep it simple. I can’t math.

Muchas gracias José un estupendo y muy útil el tutorial...me ha despejado muchas dudas en el uso de la pintura, disolución, presión y por supuesto de nuestro aerógrafo. Llevo casi 25 años con la marca Vallejo. La verdad estáis constantemente innovando y mejorando día a día. Los sigo siempre por vuestro canal. Thank you... bookmarked this video. I just started to learn airbrushing, and I'm starting off with AV acrylics. I also learned that AV Air paints can be brushed on when you don't have the correct color otherwise. 😎

Excelente tutorial André Brito. Ainda só tentei pintar umas 6 vezes com aerógrafo e já começo a desesperar com os maus resultados. 😏 Vou dar mais uma chance a mim mesmo! 😊 obrigado
