Getting to Know Chris Nussbaum, M.D., FHM - Insight Life Care Tampa

Dr. Chris Nussbaum has been practicing medicine since 1984, and has practiced internal medicine in Brandon since 1988. His medical education included extensive studies in the United Kingdom followed by training and internship, residency and chief residency at a busy inner city hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Prior to founding Insight Life Care, Dr. Nussbaum was the founder and medical director of Synergy Medical group, which grew to be one of the largest and most preeminent hospitalist practices in Florida.

As a extremely well trained and highly experienced internist, hospitalist and Fellow of Hospital Medicine, Dr. Nussbaum is able to offer his adult primary care patients his insights during both in and out patient care. Dr. Nussbaum’s desire to transcend the boundaries and limitations of corporatized, insurance managed health care and offer his patients a much higher level of attention and service led to his founding Insight Life Care, an adult primary concierge care practice.

When you say or hear someone say, "I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for "<insert name>"...well, Dr. Nussbaum is the name I have to put in that block. He brought me back out of a failed-heart & multiple-attacks. He has leveled me out where I can see the sun in the morning, and my granddaughter- (and soon, my grandson :-). God gave him the talent, and put him in my path as my doctor. I firmly believe it, no doubt. He manages all my multiple health issues sustained while in the Military and post-retirement, and I would've hoped the VA had docs like him. I can't believe folks spend more time (and money) on a gym membership or a cell phone plan, than on their personal doctor. Believe me, when that moment happens and you wind up in the hospital, having Dr. Nussbaum there gives you the confidence that you'll not only be OK, but also get out of there (LOL). AND, keep you out in between. -Put your trust in him. Oh yes, I cannot nor should not forget his Chief Nurse Victoria. She is a gem also! What a great team!
