Yellowstone National Park turns 150

The first national park in the entire world is turning 150 this year! Considering there are now well over 4,000 national parks worldwide, this is a pretty remarkable achievement for one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. Often referred to as America’s best idea, Yellowstone is still the place where Bison and wolves roam free. Located mostly in Wyoming, known as the place where the west begins, home to many Native Americans, cowboys, buffalo and chuck wagons, “The West” has enjoyed a recent renascence largely thanks to many popular TV shows, such as “Yellowstone” and “1883.”
