Developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts, Star Wars: Battlefront II was released for PC in November, 2005. It takes what was great about the original and adds more content and variety to the gameplay. It's a great sequel.

Don't know if you know this or not, but you can use the Clone Engineer's Repair thing to fix the bookshelves, it's something that they never tell you, but makes the mission a lot easier.

I think this game is amazing, tons of great mods from maps to total conversions. One thing I respect the most about this game is the fact that it still supports DRM free online play to this day, sure youll want to patch but after that, this game is in the same condition it was back in '04!

Wish this one hadn’t been rushed out for holiday 2005 since it’s kind of a downgrade in terms of map quality and graphics compared to the 2004 one but the space battles and playable heroes were excellent additions. Still play this game’s galactic conquest to this day.

As a player, the AI tends to focus on you way more than your 'allies'. I noticed this early on as a sniper, watching most all enemies no matter how far going for cover to avoid your 'sights' regardless of your allies right next to them - yes, 99% of everyone in your sights was looking right at you. Bizarre.... Prettier, yes, but I preferred the 1st one myself. So many players wanted to be a hero class they overlooked the basic problems with this release. The strength in this version was multiplayer, removing the AI for the most part.
