I love what Sony did for the intro of "Vivo." They literally started with the Columbia intro from the 60's, the curtains opened to the sets of Cuba, so it feels like I'm at a Broadway musical somehow.
Well, this is Sony's first animated musical movie, and I'm really glad they decided to go with something new because they never actually did a musical movie before until "Vivo" showed up.

And unpopular opinion: "Vivo" is one of those movies that I can imagine becoming a Broadway musical for real. I can see it working so well on Broadway. Plus, I really want to write the book and the new lyrics for the future musical, and I think Sony would love that.

The 1960's Columbia logo used in "Vivo" also used in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", "Django Unchained", "The Interview" and "The Night Before".

Vivo is a rare Netflix title that doesn't stay on the streaming network, but is also out on DVD for old fashioned viewing. Therefore, the video release could be priceless!
