I respect polygamy when done right even though for me I wouldn't practice it because of my faith..but if I were to get in a polygamous marriage I would only accept it when it's done right. Musa didn't do things the right traditional way and that's how most men are doing it these modern days, giving our traditions a bad reputation.
No matter how many girlfriends a man can have, no matter the amount of affairs he has, he had no power on his own without the first wife to pick a second wife.
These were women things, the new wife would be spending most of her time with the first wife. Back in the day women and men hardly engaged so women spend most of their time with other women working the fields, cooking etc so the second wife had to be accepted by a number of women in that household.
This modern practice where men pick up random women on the streets and bring them in the home is disrespectful to women and our culture.
