In the evening nocturnal geckos are coming out of hiding, mostly climbing up higher to forage in trees/up on buildings. As dawn approaches they head back down to the undergrowth/their hides.

Glass is cooler than the cork perhaps they want a less warm surface thats vertical rather than horizontal?

Same all gacko have nice ennclosure etc and stay on the glasse all the days 😂
