What about the house connection? I have a plastic box with a valve attached. This valve was crushed when the new refrigerator was pushed back into the space. The valve leaked and there was water all over the floor. How to avoid it? Thanks

Honestly, all these comments about how he didn't show how to hook up to water line. There are other videos for that. I already have a water line ready to roll. I just needed to know how to hook it up to my new fridge since the delivery guys don't do that (apparently it's a liability issue). Pretty straightforward, which I figured it would be.

I have a water line right behind the refrigerator. I hooked up the line. A little ghetto rigged with flex seal but I have no leaks. But the question is, How much do I turn on the water valve for the ice mater and water? I turned it a quarter turn and check the water and it comes out a little in the fridge. But how much to turn to make ice and make the water coming out a nice stream?
