Thanks Misha! Absolutely loved this lap! Hope the beeping didn't ruin to much of the video! It's set to beep at 110°c on the coolant. I let misha push on as I deemed it okay! Few more cooling mods lined up to really help it stay cool when pushing really hard!

This is about the quickest Ive seen Misha go through the corners. At most points beating his own gt3 rs corner speeds. Something clicks with misha and type R

It's INCREDIBLE how well the Type R handles for a FWD car.

If your temps are still getting a bit high try to change to stock thermostat. It is set from the factory quite high so that the engine runs warm due to emission standards, I believe the stock one opens fully at 90C. Otherwise great lap and car looks it is performing extremely well with very minor mods!

Top speed before Schwedenkreuz was 163mph (262kph), in Foxhole 154mph (247kph). Holy smokes! o.O

Purchased an FK8 over the weekend - un-modded. I'm flabbergasted how well it grips corners at speed and the braking is super-responsive. First impressions are very strong. It feels a very safe and solid drive when you give it welly. Much as I loved the FN2 we had, this thing is a serious upgrade.

It as an absolute asbo-mobile, but its looks are growing on me.

I did a little research. And found out some fastest lap data with regards to car type. This car actually beats a TTRS for lap times. I was a little gutted as I own one. Then a felt a little better when I found out it also beats the RS6.
