Now that's a harness, awesome. You have a lovely dog and no matter what, you have control so you and dog are safe. Take heed fellow dog owners and I've noticed the excellent heavy lead, beautiful. I hate extendable leads bloody dangerous, only use them when teaching a pup to return, once your dog gets it, get rid of it and get a harness and proper lead. I've had my rant. Thank you.

This has me realising our dog wasn't dependent on certain people in the family. When we went fo a walk, it was a "who's gonna go? The younger ones? Yay! Oh, the male younger? YAY!" And off we went.
That's not that we all had our preferres taskd (from his perspective).
Dad was the one to wash him, feed him treats he usually never got, give hime guidance and commands (he once told the dog to not let anyone sleep on his side of the bed, and the dog admonished (growled) at mum when she snuggled in to dads side. Dad even walked the boundaries of his domaine, and the dig never left.
Mum was the medicator, and vacuumwd his coat every now and then (easiest way to bring relief to a double coated dog).
My brotherwas the rough play one, as well as intense walks.
I was the groomer, the feeder, the communicator.
We all walked him when he needed.

Gods I still miss Jeri. He was perfect.
