Clickbait titles are so damn annoying. Makes me not even want to watch the video. I understand why people do them, but they're pretty irritating. Rick Shiels is terrible about it. Please don't make this channel like that too.

Matt - I have watched your videos for years and find them to be extremely helpful. In your "Secrets to Break 90” video – Secret 6, you use an orange ball positioned approx 2Ft behind your golf ball. I just worked on the drill in today's video and incorporated Secret 6! I am hitting my irons more consistently than ever! Do you recommend these drills with your wood? Thanks. The Country Bear

Hi Matt, great stuff! I am 70 years old and like most older golfers my swing was getting narrower. You see the wrapped around the neck backswing. My teacher has been working with me to get my hands away from me and I have been working hard on this. I watched your video twice to make sure I understood it and went to the range to warm up for my 18 hole round. Starting with the sand wedge I hit the ball 80 yards, yikes! I normally get 55-60 yds. 7 iron was looking longer and driver was high draw. Hmm let's see what happens on the course. Driver was longer all day some 20 yds. Very straight. Irons much better. Best shot of the day was a 155 yd uphill par 3 that I usually leave a little short with a 6 iron. Put it on the green with my 7 iron. Playing again today, I have a lesson Thursday, can't wait see my teachers reaction.

Great video! I've always been a head pusher, just roll that face wide open. Recently watch led the "don't hinge" video of yours and incorporated that into the range session. I've never been able to compress the ball and hear the thump of the ground like I did that day. I see how this video correlates to the no hinge video. Thanks for all your work!!!!

Excellent tip for maintaining width and most importantly keeping the club head outside hands on the way back and in front of your chest. Instant positive results 👊

Hey Matt, I saw your last video on breaking 90 and this one. Went to the range yesterday practiced on wedges and driver and used your ball exercise and the exercise in this video. You just resolved my driver issue of major inconsistency to decently consistent. Also, I just quit my lead wrist flexion on my back swing as well. The results were surprisingly great and it gave me confidence in having something to look forward to when hitting the links. As always, hats off to you and fantastic job!

It seems to me that you'd push your hands away from your body, which would actually produce an over the top swing because when you come back down, your club head would be outside of the ball on the right. Can you explain why you wouldn't just push the arms out Xander Schauffele or Bryson, at a 45 degree angle--not out and not down, but down/out?

Matt, if you ever decide to change your YouTube name it could be "Mr Never" or "Mr always"
Just kidding, I love your content

That is awesome. I went to an instructor a while back that wanted me to lead with the handle. I didn't buy into it and never went back. I always came way inside and flat but I didn't come over the top on the downswing, I came from the inside because that is the only way I could draw the ball but didn't feel like I could swing freely. I've been looking for a way to learn how to keep the club in front of me and hit higher, straighter shots and I think this is it. Thanks Matt.

In a video titled 5 backswing tips he says to keep arms close to body in the backswing. Now he’s saying to push arms away. So which is it?

I don't know how you manage to give the exact advice I need to hear, but this is what I needed to hear today. Thanks for the videos and the advice.

Great video. It's the "little things" that make a big difference in getting clean contact with the ball. The result . . . everything flies straight! 🙂

I know you like to tinker, I wonder how you would hit a iron that was 6 degree's flat??? Try it you might like it, Pro.

Thanks for tips MSG, The last 2-3 weeks my game has gone to crap from 8 hcp to over 11 with no confidence from driver to wedge and spraying everything left or right with no idea where it's going. Hopefully this will get me back on track.

Man what a game changing video Matt! I have been looking for something simple to just focus on to make the game more fun. I have been playing 35 years and this tip has been fantastic. I know you have talked about this one before and I couldn't quite get it but this video explaining the details of the push and right hand fingers has put it on another level. I have been struggling a little with the fairway woods and driver implementing this so if you have anything to elaborate on those that would be greatly appreciated. Wedges, Short Irons and even the Long irons/Hybrid are money! Thank you so much!
