This is heartbreaking. Mr McFaul knows what he's talking about, unlike anyone on Team Trump, and it's just wrenching to hear his views, because I'm sure he's right. Trump has manoeuvred President Zelensky into a tough place - if he doesn't agree to these terrible terms, Trump will use that to refuse further US military aid.
