I would love to see the Jets trade for extra picks in the first round this year. I'd do whatever I possibly can to draft Riley Heicht, Dmitri Simasev and Carson Bjarnson are the 3 I'd draft in the first round if the Jets can get them. Those are the 3 I'm building around in years to come moving forward.

To Philadelphia: Jake Allen, 1st 2023 (FLA)

Carter fits in with the age of the Habs youth core (Suzuki and Caufield). The Flyers get a veteran goalie to help with Peterson and a 3rd first rounder to help start the rebuild in a very strong draft.

Plus in cap world, it's a wash. Love the channel!

As a HABS fan, I’m declining the PLD trade. It’s too much to give up for him. Harris has been playing super good for us and I don’t want to give up much more than Dvorak and Florida first, let alone adding a great defensive prospect. If you take Harris out of that trade, I’d accept but as it stands, Harris is too valuable to give up with those other pieces.

The jets aren’t looking to rebuild maybe a 1 year retool and get back at it. They won’t trade anyone without getting a suitable replacement or something that can fill the spot within the next 2 years.

As a CBJ fan, no shot Chinakov and Tarasov are given up with a 1st for Hellebuyck. Tarasov has upside and is young, cost controlled, and the future over Elvis. Elvis also has a 5.4M cap hit (maybe 5.5M) but a pricey one so why would they pay two tendies starter prices? Makes no sense. Hellebuyck is also 31, and wants to go to a cup contender so the chance he signs an extension in CBus is slim at best. So essentially this trade involves CBus giving up on their future (Tarasov, Chinakov) and for giggles they are throwing a 1st in to cap it off. Just for one year of Hellebuyck. Ugh...what? Nah fam

Jets and MTL don't make sense for a trade this summer. Habs will not want to give up what is needed and there are better trading partners elsewhere for WPG (NYR, COL, BOS, LA, etc.)

PLD wont like it in Montreal, he will be in the same position as in winnipeg, he will be playing behind Nick Suzuki and caufield. PLD just needs to wait it out for Scheifele to be traded

Actually the jets do have some leverage now because Dubois said he is not going to sign or play with Winnipeg, which is sad but oh well
