How to Play Country Fiddle - basic Lesson / tutorial on the style. "Fiddle" is a broad term for a bowed string instrument in the context of country, celtic, bluegrass, and other folk styles.
Its role changes from genre to genre. In Country music, the fiddle fulfills the same role that an electric guitar might in rock and pop music.
Common keys for country music include G, D, A because they use the open strings as "drones" or easy double stops.
