Waypoint TV: Fishing & Hunting TV Show Platform [Review]

Have you heard of Waypoint TV (the new hunting and fishing TV show platform) yet? We weren't aware of it until we had Tom Rowland from the fishing TV show, Saltwater Experience. on our podcast when he mentioned he had recently hosted his shows there as well.

From what we can tell, the outdoor media company is fairly new but has attracted some of the biggest fishing (and hunting) TV shows out there.

Fishing Television shows such as:

Into The Blue
Silver Kings
Bass2Billfish with Peter Miller
Saltwater Experience
The Next Bite
Anglers Journal TV
Flats Class
Sweetwater
Money Fish
The Fin Chasers

and many more.

Regarding Hunting shows, here are a few of the most popular shows on the Waypoint Outdoors platform:

Chasing November
Sitka Films
Hunting Film Tour
Sporting Dog Adventures

They even have some great short films (for fishing and hunting) on the platform as well.

So what are the pros to Waypoint Outdoors TV?

The pros are that this kind of reminds me of a "Netflix for the outdoor space." Everything is well organized, it's all in the highest HD quality, and you can watch it anywhere.

It's also currently free to watch any show, anytime, from any device.

Much better than watching these fishing shows on YouTube.

What are the cons of Waypoint?'

Some of the shows still have a commercial in the beginning, but they are all pretty brief.

The only other negative is that not every single popular fishing show is on here, but then again the platform is pretty new.

The big question is will they have to ultimately charge the consumer at some point in the future. Not necessarily a bad thing if they get more shows on board and have it mostly commercial free and easy to access anywhere.
