I've been using Lossless Scaling for a long time. Its no gimick, works great on games like Elden Ring or any locked fps games. I actually find it better than AMD frame gen.

If anyone wants to boost their FPS I can confirm lossless scaling is so good and I would highly recommend it. You can get some strange looking artifacts sometimes, especially with dark scenes but it can make some games so much smoother to play

I love the fact that AMD is hanging on to their chips that don't meet spec and using them at the end of the generation in lower end products.

Lossless scaling is amazing. Especially with games that are locked at 60fps. It works really well on Elden Ring and several other titles I tried, its definitely worth it.

The end game of frame generation is where we can take any abritrary game frame rate and intrapolate it to your vsync framerate. We are just getting started with this tech.

If it's 4x your FPS, it doesn't generate 4 frames for every real one. It generates 3 frames + 1 real one.

It's a good idea to bring new entry-level cards onto the market again.
I could imagine that these cards could be used as an upgrade if the existing GPU can't process newer video codes, but the CPU is still sufficient,
or if you're buying a new PC that doesn't have an I GPU. Many programs now also use GPUs for various tasks.

I hope that these can address a sensible amount of RAM and not get an unnecessary amount of RAM from the board partners,
in order to be able to sell them and more expensively.
For people who have a tight budget, this is quite unfavourable if a card costs more than 30% as another,
because it has twice the memory, which is usually not needed.
A lot of slower DDR memory and more expensive than the small version with GDDR memory

I have lossless scaling and when i do 45 fps lock x3 there is not visible latency issues even in dota 2 and fortnite, so literately no downsides with this program at those settings, but 30 fps x2 is not always playable, only for majority of single player games, if game have engine that suck with mouse movement, like quantum break probably will have some latency issues
