My parents are both from Egypt, they are immigrants. They tired to teach me Arabic when I was 5 but they gave later thinking its not worth it. I know some Arabic by listening to my parents speak and when spoken too I can reply a little bit but it sound stupid so now I really want to learn Arabic so I can actually communicate with my relatives and not rely on my parents all the time.

i worked for a man who natively spoke arabic for three years. working with him meant so much to me and he was always so lovely to learn from. my dream is to one day go back to his restaurant and speak to him in arabic years later, thank you for your video

I know this stuff. Im African American and was raised in madrasahs. I was taught the Quran by Pakistani teachers and Arabic teachers receiving unique teachings from each of them. Very fun memories from my childhood and it was nice to refresh my memory. 😊

I'm white and not Muslim but I've always wanted to learn Arabic, I love language in general but especially from a historical perspective because the Arab world is so influential and so important, just downloaded duolingo and and starting to learn arabic characters. It's such a beautiful language

As a Norwegian/algerian wanting to learn Arabic, I really appreciate the use of «æ» in the pronunciation. Found it quite amusing how we can use other languages and their alphabets to sound something out in another😄👏🏼
