Argostoli is the capital and main port town of Kefalonia (Cephalonia) Greece. In Argostoli town there is a main pedestrianised street with bars and shops that runs parallel to the harbour, at the end of this street is the central Argostoli Square that’s surrounded by open air seating restaurants and bars. Argostoli is a popular port for cruise ships too, with Argostoli town being only a ten minute walk away.

in 2016 July, I went with my daughter and partner to Argostoli (Kefalonia) we stayed in the GALAXY hotel for 12 days (11 nights), the shops street there was full of tourists, and you couldn't even get a table to have a how empty it looks now.

Kefalonia is famous for its local wine varieties“Robola”, “Mavrodafni” and Kefalonian Moschato. “Robola”, specifically, is one of the three best wine varieties in Greece! About 500 tons of “Robola” wine are produced every year, many of them exported mainly in Europe and the USA.
