As a 2022 Tiguan R Line owner, I really don't like this new look for '24. Sorry, looks like I won't be upgrading for sometime, or I guess there's always other brands. If I wanted a vehicle that looks like the ID 4, id buy and ID4.

1. What happened to the straight lines, bring them back
2. Make the rotary dial a gear shift/selector
3 the previous grill was much better especially with the led lights flanking the bumper
4 put the gauge cluster back in its cave like the previous model

If I understand correctly, the wheel in the center of the console is used ONLY to control the volume, change the theme (ambient light colors) and manage the driving modes. For such a command (with a high frequency of use), I find that the choice of these functions is not very appropriate. The volume is already present on the steering wheel controls. I don't think users will change interior themes that frequently. the same goes for the driving modes. I would have found it more logical to use the wheel to control the infotainment (like BMW) or other more useful functions.

NO vw what did you do. The last version of the Tiguan was the best in the segment and best looking SUV at it's price point. I am sure the tech in it is good it but this looks like an oversized shake my head.

It looks very slick, round, and plastic-like, bubble style with a huge TV that doesn't fit into the design. The way to the successful design is simple, Volkswagen, takes the Touareg and makes a smaller copy of it. Why these round ID's shapes are present where strict forms gone?!

Why put the silver details on the front of the bumper and back bumper just have it all colour coordinated. Vw get the black edition out immediately not at the end of the life of the car.

After just 1 year driving VW Tiguan R its windscreen crack twice, first replaced and claimed from insurance, after 2 months got crack again. The quality of VW Tiguan windscreen is really bad compared with my previous Honda CRV, Nissan Xtrail and Hyundai Starex. Bad decision to buy VW Tiguan. I tought buying continental car would be worth....but it turned out to be really bad.

vw usa: nah best we can do is 8 inch instrument + 8 inch infotainment, take it or leave it.
you said HUD would be nice? well just look at your 8 inch infotainment it is more than enough and SO custumizable!!
you also like dual-valve electrically-adjustable suspension? Sorry it's fully steel suspension only!
oh you want more power? SORRY but we can only do 2.0T 184hp
and you would like plug-in hybrid version too? Ok go and buy our I.D. series car NOW so that we can give you an even smaller instrument cluster!
also don't worry our version will be 1 ft longer than this global version because you all like it big :)
what? I also heard that you want us to offer the nicer looking headlights on most trim levels as standard equipment? Don't ridicule! But you can count on us to make an uglier, reflector-based version of the headlights for all but the highest trim level. ENJOY your new tiguan!
