I've been in banks for over 6 years and at the beginning of Covid some people withdrew alot of cash all at once. Our bank was awfully antiquated technologically and covid forced us to get current very quickly. We did have to send people letters to assure them their money is safe. Now I see why those letters were so significant

And now it's TWO banks. Also interest rates are going up again. Our economy is largely war-based, and the general public, as well as the Western European public does not support this proxy war. There are a lot of indicators that something is wrong. The unemployment numbers aren't valid. Many are no longer eligible because they've been under employed or unemployed for too long.

My husband is having a hard time cashing his check made out to him my husband is a electrician with local 3 he got laid off this week. and the company of local 3, give him a check for that bank that we talkin about Silicone Valley Bank. Even as we speak he is trying to cash it. He's been to too check cashing place yesterday and today and they told him that they can not cash his check.

The bank was one of the go to banks for crypto exchanges. It more showed a lack of faith in crypto (after the FTX scandal so can blame them?) than in the whole of the economy.
