USDC's reputation is kinda messed up. Even being with Coinbase doesn't make people trust it anymore after their recent problems.

Why on earth would you even consider USDC? It's still unaudited, and its market cap just went down the drain with a staggering 30 billion loss. And as if that's not enough, hardly anyone even uses it anymore after the depegging fiasco. If you're still willing to put your faith in a stablecoin like that, you're practically inviting disaster in this market.

They're likely strategizing now, especially when many USDC users are shifting to other stablecoins. With USDC's market cap decreasing, their survival might rely heavily on revenue from it. Plus, isn't USDC still without a proper audit?

If they were genuinely committed to USDC adoption in payment infrastructures, they should have conducted a proper audit and shown more transparency about it. But as of now, their stablecoin remains as questionable as it was years ago.
