Ranzo, I just want to say, as a long-time viewer, I truly appreciate everything you've done with your channel. As a Black man living in Japan, you opened the door for so many people, including those like me who live in the States and have never seen beyond their own neighborhood. You gave us a glimpse of what it's like to pursue the dream of living in Japan as a Black man, navigating life and sharing your unique perspective. Not only did you share your journey, but you also featured others on your channel, allowing them to tell their stories and share their experiences. For that, I’m genuinely grateful.

The impact of what you've done is huge—you've given people a dream. I might not be putting it in the best way, but I just want to thank you for all you’ve done. Now that you're no longer in Japan, I hope you continue to grow your channel, whether it’s about your experiences in Canada, Jamaica, or wherever life takes you next. I’m excited to see what you do in the future. As for me, thanks to you, I know I’ll make it to Japan one day and share my own story.

Thank you for every video you’ve made and every interview you’ve conducted. If no one else gives you your flowers, I hope this message reaches you. Again, thank you.

I'm Japanese living in America and I'm a Christian. I came across your videos around last year and have watched a lot of them. The videos were very interesting and Christian-related, and they really helped me in my life. I hear you are leaving Japan, and I feel a little sad about it, but I hope that you and your family will live a new, successful, healthy and prosperous life in your new place. Thank you so much for all your work in Japan and for the wonderful videos.

Not exactly sure when I started following you but it’s been an amazing thing to see the time pass, you grow, and all of us who’ve been following grow as well. Great luck!

I left Canada 20 years ago and attempted to make a comeback last year, I couldn’t even last 3 months. Now I’m back in Asia raising a happy family. You’re going to return to Japan permanently within 6 months, I say this because once you experience life as a human being not judged and limited due to origin or skin colour it’s next to impossible to return to a society with such standards.

There's nothing wrong with saying that a specific time and phase of your life has run its course and it's time to move on to something new. Best of luck to you and your family!

Star apple. I am a Jamaican who has been living in Asia for 16 years. It’s all just a chapter in the long book of life. Safe travels, and thanks for all the great videos.

I have nothing but appreciation for your work. The level of selflessness in your interviews is evident. You allow each person to reflect deeply and show themselves. Their stories and your stories have inspired so many to expand their boundaries. Thank you for your tremendous presence! I wish you health, wisdom, and grace wherever your next chapter takes you.

Starapple!

For a moment it sounded like you were permanently moving back to Canada, which had me worried. It is definitely not the same country you left 8 years ago (economically speaking), and while I'm not sure how it compares to Japan, a lot of folks are leaving Canada as a result. Regardless, I wish you and your family God's richest blessings in this next journey, and I'm glad you're doing well at the very least, it's been a while!

Hey Ranzo, I was a part of the launch of The Black Experience in Japan channel in 2017. I remember that September night when it rained so much but a group gathered to support the cause. I am blown away every time I think of how it started and what you made it into. You have done a tremendous job sharing the many experiences of our fellow people here. Thanks for all the meet-ups that you and your wife organised in Tachikawa, I have met some long-lasting friends because of them. All the best with the next part of the journey and I wish you continued success. Walk good.

Ok so he is coming back to Japan eventually. I imagine he'll go back to Canada and realize Japan is way more affordable and safer country to raise children.

I’m glad you and your family are doing well and moving on to the next chapter of your lives. I remember when I was taking my first trips to Japan and trying to learn more about the culture your videos popped up and you and the people that you interviewed had interesting experiences I’m grateful for you and your work on the channel.

You have done an excellent jpb Sir. I was considering Japan for higher education for my son. Through you, I met a compatriot, one of your guests. I watched I think every single interview. They were so informative and authentic. I finally decided against the scheme but I still now regularly watch Japan related content. Thank you. I could have made an awful.
