Thank you for making this video! I just recently bought the same exact type in your video from Walmart and the instructions were the same but for some reason my manual told me to press the button five times not press and hold it for 5 so I was stuck on this until I came across your video

I got one of these to use a cheap toaster oven to dry 3D printer filament. A toaster oven has so much power and hysteresis that the temperature will go way above the desired temperature when initially turned on but after it stabilizes it gets much closer to a safe range and if I crack open the door by about 3/4' it controls within the acceptable temperature range for filament drying. Originally I was going to get a thermocouple and relay to use with one of my Arduino's but when I added it up it was the same price as what this controller was selling for.

Mine has gone wacky, it shows the correct temp in the fridge (internal aftermarket thermometer shows similar temp as the thermostats display) but I've recently had to set the off - on settings way higher than actual temps then it works, but that changes now and again and I have to mess with it till I find what makes it work properly ... stupids! ... tried resetting it, ... no change ... bazaaar!

I just bought this and use it for my reptiles. I only want my heat lamp to be on during the day. How do you set a timer so each day it turns on and shuts off at the same time?
