I’m genuinely surprised at how many people don’t understand NFL rules. Maybe lots of NCAA fans who don’t realize the difference between rules there and the NFL?

Are you equally confused when a receiver only gets one foot in bounds and it doesn’t count as a catch?

Unless it’s an intentional kneel (this clearly wasn’t), the play goes on unless a defender touches them while their knee is down. Same rule as a receiver catching the ball while diving and getting up to run.
