There is different hair removals could be used to remove a years of black box dye. In Europe colourists using - acid color remover 2-3 times, then wading hair with deep cleaning shampoo to stop the process. After that they using alkaline color remover 1 time. And then, they are using toners and color . 😎 Done without damage to the hair.

So do you recommend doing color remover before highlights on dark hair after a hair strand test? Also, what if it is for a partial highlight. Would you do color remover on the partial highlight only?

The bleach is blond at the roots because of the heat from her head- that’s why they say do your roots last… (the heat from your head spreads up the process) though the fact that her roots weren’t dyed properly helped too

Thank you! I wanted platinum hair but my hairdresser didn't want to do it so it got like a dark blonde which was really making me look sick. I went back to make it blonder and he didn't want to do it again, so I just told him to dye it a light natural brown, almost like my natural hair colour... When he was finished, my hair was brown but with a very bright red shine.. I hate it and now I'm probably gonna dye my hair myself but I didn't know the difference

I did 2 processes of color remover and it barely changed at all (and there is only 1 layer of dye over virgin uair 😢
