GIS Capabilities and the Importance of Spatial Connections in Health Science Investigation

This talk focuses on the exciting ways to link environmental factors and health data to better understand the impacts of nature on human health. From single measures to cumulative indices, there are multiple ways to capture exposures with the use of geospatial analyses. Dr. Brochu showcases the work developed at the Spatial Analysis Lab at the University of Vermont, and how current students and researchers are using it to assess impacts to health.
