I just got a power xl smokeless grill and I am trying to use it. The problem I am having is when I push power and I get a solid light for a few seconds then it starts beeping and will not let me set the temperature. Am I doing something wrong?

They should have mentioned that the unit heats very unevenly.

I wasted a hundred bucks on this. It sucks. Is dirty. Grease collects in fan and is gross to clean. Doesn’t work get that hot. The griddle is awful because it’s so easy to knock grease inside the fan.
