Terraria, But I'm The Shield Class...

In this video I installed a mod that adds shields into the game. These shields allow me to dash into enemies to deal damage, not only that, some even come with special abilities. This mod also adds in new armor sets and npcs so the question is, will I be able to reach all the way to the final boss Moon Lord using shields only? Stay tuned to find out!

I'm pretty sure the reason upward dashes are so op is because rather than knocking you back when dashing the mod doesn't calculate vertical knockback so you just stay inside the boss rather than being thrown out of it which causes it to continuously hit the boss until you fall out of its hitbox

Nope, you can buy crimson seeds from the dryad in a graveyard post-WoF. Plant them on some dirt, then plant some acorns.

Damn, whoever made this mod really didn't think of the implications of infinite upward dashes (infinite flight in pre-hardmode) or getting multiple hits on enemies with one dash.

Although, just like any mod, its difficult to think of or test everything. Maybe removing the upward dash and messing with immunity frames could help?

22:10 no the invincibility does work its like the hallow armor bonus it gives u hit of invincibility so if ur inside them taking constant damage it wont work that well its supposed to be a safty net thing where if u get hit once u wont take damage for the first hit of invincibility

I thought this was going to be a “tanking everything until they all die” video, as in you, yourself, are the shield, because three of the 7 shields in the game reduce damage taken, three of them are knockback/fire block/debuff immunities, and only one can deal damage, so I thought it was going to just be an insane amount of armor.
