Jackie is a legend. his stunts in his films brought a level of authenticity to his films that still is not matched today. when Jackie did something on screen you knew it was real, 100 percent, no safety wires, no cgi, just Jackie looking death in the eyes. nobody will ever top him.

this will never be repeated in cinema. the combination of jackie's skill and the freedom to actually do what ever he wants.

He is/was one of the craziest badasses ever. I don't see anyone ever topping Jackie in stunt work. Sure, Tom Cruise does a lot of wild stunts himself, but even he isn't on Jackie Chan level. How the man hasn't died on set, or been paralysed, is either a huge miracle, or just proof of exactly how badass crazy this man was/is. And I love that every movie of his (that I know of) shows stunts gone wrong during the credits.

Jackie is a one of a kind. I always loved that they included his stunts misteps in the credits of his movies. Goes to show just what he put his body through.
Safest work he did was the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon series which is also fun to watch :D

The amount of times this man has gotten injured and kept on trucking since he started doing stunts 50+ years ago is one reason why he is worth so much. It also shows how much of a legendary bad ass he truly is. He is one of a kind. He was my favorite action star growing up. Still stands out from many.

I love those Jackie Chan outtakes cuz it shows that what he did in these movies wasn’t as easy as he made it look and yes, it shows he’s not Superman. So many outtakes includes intakes of a stunt gone awry and it’s funny to watch but it shows the lengths and risks Jackie Chan was taking to make a good movie for the audience because he’s human. He isn’t Superman. He has gotten injured before doing these stunts

These aren't stunts. There's just a ninja cameraman filming Jackie's everyday life.

For those who didn’t know, the Police Story double decker bus, those 3 guys were suppose to land on the car behind Jackie. The stopping of the bus was a bit too early, which resulted in the 3 stunt guys landing on the concrete rather than on the car as planned.
Even with this mistake, it made the stunt even better IMO

I remember watching Rumble in the Bronx in the 90's as a kid. No actor would EVER have done that. Jackie is legend and rightly so.

Im so glad you invited Andy Cheng as he knows every bit of the process.I've watched Jackie's movie since the 80's as well as behind the scenes stuff. We already know Jackie is great but sometimes it's not always the spectacular stunts, it's the minor one's that amazes me, still to this day. I've just rewatched Police Story 1 its mind blowing
