The Third Passover Finished (BIB 711 Class #10)

In today's video we see how the entire Gospel of John reaches a climax as the true Passover Lamb is slaughtered on Calvary, declaring "it is finished" as he expires and hands over the Spirit. In this reflection on the Gospel read by the Church every year on Good Friday, we also see how the kingship of Jesus serves as the fulcrum of much irony, as the Good Shepherd indeed lays down his life for the sheep.
