Imp. Lines:
1.) Different people have dif. development goals due to their dif. life situations.
2.) Development for one may not be the development for other. It may be destructive for the other eg. Tribals in Sardar Sarovar Dam (Narmada)
3.) For development, people look for mix of goals which means both materialistic(money) and non-materialistic things(equality, freedom, health facilities, respect, Job security) eg. Factors one look for a job. These factors improve the quality of living.
4.) Money in your pocket cannot buy all the goods and services that you require the live well. Eg. Pollution free environment, Protection from infectious diseases, Unadulterated Medicines.
5.) Government who provide Public Facilities seek for maximum benefit for maximum people in order to increase the living standards of its citizens.
