The Richmond Way would be a great title for spin off on Ted Lasso with all the characters we love and more with Ted doing cameos…..exploring the women’s team is another great idea maybe for its own series!

I'd love to continue the series with everyone but Ted (who's back in Kansas) - it'd be great to see the Roy/Jameh/Keeley dynamic, and I'd LOVE to see what happens with Rebecca and the Flying Dutchman! I’ve never seen an interview where anyone said Rebecca and Keeley were supposed to be pitted against each other. Hanna and Juno said they THOUGHT they would be because that’s how all the other shows portray women.
But they were happily surprised to find that the writers had written a wonderfully supportive friendship between the two characters.

Change the name to Roy Kent, follow his coaching adventures, his relationship with Keeley and Jamie...Ted can make a cameo in maybe a Christmas episode or a pivotal game (leveling up or leveling down or winning a championship). We can follow Rebecca's ups and downs with her Flying Dutchman and his daughter and we can watch Higgins take on more responsibility with the club and prove he is actually a business genius!!

A spin-off I'd like to see is something like Jaime getting a bad injury and end up coaching the AFC Richmond women's team. Hopefully, with Shannon, I think it is, the girl Ted plays with in the street.
If we were gonna stick with Ted, he would have to Coach a Div 2 college soccer team or some thing.

Season 4 reveals the team in the champions league. The continued struggles. The crew trying to use the Richmond way but realizing that it’s really the lasso way and that they have to find out what to do without Ted.
Ted continues to be asked by the coaches and the other players on what to do but he continues to point them to themselves. Last episode has Ted coming back and all are excited for his return but it’s just a stop over for him and his family on their way to Paris where the last scene show him finally proposing to Michelle in Paris, and the team winning it all

Roy is my favorite character in Ted Lasso. Jamie is a distant second but he’s great. Roy on the other hand makes me laugh very rewatch, and I’ve rewatched a lot. Will miss Ted, but without him there is still a lot that can be done since there are so many other great characters and potential storylines. The show has been so successful it would be hard to imaging Apple not wanting to make money on spin offs. We’re def getting more from the Richmond squad. Can’t wait.
