Facebook FINALLY Bans Trump After Day Of Chaos

Показать описание
Twitter took some baby steps this week by suspending Trump's account for 12 hours, but Facebook went all out and said that the President's account is now suspended indefinitely due to his behavior. This is an absolutely wonderful move by the social media giant, as it strips Trump of his most powerful weapon. Farron Cousins discusses this.

On Thursday, Facebook announced that they were taking the extraordinary stuff. Yup. Of finally banning Donald Trump from Facebook. Now the day before on Wednesday during all of the unrest, from the riots in DC, uh, Twitter announced that they were suspending Donald Trump's account for 12 hours. Uh, after he had sent a tweet filled with misinformation, uh, that they believe is what helped lead to these riots. And they're right about that. Uh, but they only ban him for 12 hours suspended as accounts and deleted the tweets. Uh, Facebook took it a step further, further, excuse me, and said you were indefinitely banned, actually indefinitely suspended, but an indefinite suspension, a suspension without any end sight is banishment. Uh, 100%. I agree with this decision by Facebook and I wish Twitter would get off their butts and go ahead and do the same thing. They've pretty much made it clear.
Twitter has a, that they will be banning Donald Trump once he is out of office, but not until then. Here's the thing. Trump's power comes from his microphone. If he does not have a microphone, he does not have power. That is how that works. Twitter is his most powerful microphone. Facebook is still a good one for him, but, but absolutely nowhere near the impact that his Twitter feed has. So if you take away these very powerful microphones, this man, once he leaves office will have no way to speak to the public. He will have to rely on the kindness of the people at Fox news, Newsmax, one America news, and any other network willing to put them on TV. Now here's the problem with that? Those networks aren't exactly reaching every single American in this country. I mean, yeah, sure. People watch them. Right. We know that, um, Trump has tens of millions of followers on Twitter though.
And these networks combined get a couple million viewers per day throughout the day. It's not comparable in any way. So yes, just the simple act of banning him from these social media sites is going to reduce his power, reduce his effect and reduce his influence over the American public. And you know what folks we have to do that if we do not do that, we are not going to be able to deprogram these cult members who believe that this man is some kind of, but it has to be done. And the social media companies are the ones that have to do it because if they don't, then Trumpism is going to continue to live. It's going to continue to evolve and it's going to continue to get worse.
