Sabrina Bartlett is a great young actress! Pity she did not reprise the role for Season 2. She plays the duplicitous princess very well. Seemingly innocent yet with a fierce will under the surface.

There wasn't a Prince of catalonia, there was a King of Argon who was the Count of barcelona

Haven’t seen a single episode of this and now I already know it’s historically inaccurate. Isabella (a blonde) married Edward II when she was 12. There was no love affair with another prince.

It's the Kingdom of Aragon, not Catalonia... Catalonia was never a kingdom, it was called the County of Barcelona inside of the Kingdom of Aragon.

PD: I know because I'm a Catalan. And long live Spain!

Isabella was actually 7 or 12 when she got married

Prince of Catalonia? Catalonia has never existed as a Kingdom, so many innacuracies in this series.

She was exactly like her father : bold, manipulative, strong, fierce, destined to rule. There are only two human beings, the iron king Philip IV loved : his wife to whom he remained faithful until his death and his daughter, Isabella .He never loved his sons or anybody else. He was cold blooded. He sent his secretary to Rome to slap the pope and remove him from papacy. He sent the templars to the stake to steal their money. He destroyed everyone who tried to oppose him. He had no feelings. He was very handsome. But his only goal was to increase his power. A contemporary said of him : he is not a man but a statue.

I loved the spiritual side of the show very moving. I wonder if there is going to be a second season of Knightfall cause want to know what happens. To Isabella and the uncle and the guy towards the end that puts a scroll in his mouth from the grail. Absolutely moving.

She was a blonde. They could have at least casted someone who looked somewhat like her.

Relax you "history buffs"
At the beginning of the episodes it readd it basically has real historic figures in it.
Also says....
...this is a fictional account of the Temple of Samon Kights Templar blah blah blah...
Relax it's a drama series. Good too. ✌👍

The historical figure was an inspiration for Cersei.

Trade off for the power back then was a marriage of state not love. If love grew or came into it at all it was a rare thing.

her smile towards jaimie lannister in game of thrones was really suggestive. Even though yeah, technically she supposed to be arya in disguise.

So this is like those historical Chinese shows that are basically fanfiction, taking real names and crafting completely different personas. Instead of talking about how "this series shows us the true heroism of this historical figure", why not address what was changed and what wasn't? Talk about the character and the writing, not the historicity (since there is in fact none). Nobody ever claimed that Xi Guifei heroically murdered the paranoid Yongzheng emperor.

Joan should've went with her gut instinct and let her cousin kill Isabella
