Good for Troy. This is going to be awesome. This also seems like it might cause a stir in the industry.

This is a clip from The Pat McAfee Show live from Noon-3PM EST Mon-Fri.

More than he ever made in one year as a QB.

Al Michaels might be one of the only current commentators that I actually like

Imagine being John Gruden seeing these numbers

The biggest problem is the Monday night football locked in schedule. ESPN keeps running circles around and around trying to find the right people but it’s not about that, it’s about watching the Bears 2-3 times a year.

lived in Wisconsin for only 2 years and went to the game where Prater threw a touchdown, Rodgers got hurt and booed out, and Pat announced the game. amazing

Wouldn't Al Michaels love working with Pat. It'd never happen, but they have chemistry. Coulda been cool

I’m happy for Troy, but there is no way anyone should be paid that much for MNF.

The "writing" been on the wall for Aikman to leave Fox after CBS and Jerry Jones collaborated to give Tony Romo the call on the 49ers-Cowboys playoff game...Aikman took that personally given his legacy.

If MNF really wants to crank up the brand, stop being stoopid and put Pat in the booth.

This is perfect. Now I can watch the manningcast and not have to hear Aikman. Next I need Buck to get the boot too and I’d love my Sunday’s

Imagine if The Pat McAfee show had a contract with the NFL. Being able to stream the games live on YouTube ( with ads ) and the boys do a play by play commentary and analysis for the game. They could show highlights from other games. Plus have a pregame predictions and commentary.

As a Lions fan, I remember that game Pat called. I loved it. He added actual excitement to the booth - particularly to the special teams.

Also, the Lions beat the Packers. ALWAYS a great day.

Hopefully this is the end of MNF changing commentary teams every other year. Ever since Al Michaels and John Madden went to NBC all those years ago MNF just hasn't felt as big time.

MNF can be flexed starting week 12 in 2023 with the new TV deal.

Am I the only one who wants less talking? I miss the days where it was commonplace to just hear the crowd for a few moments. The Networks now think it's a failure on their part if someone isn't talking at all times.

My favorite part of Troy and Buck is when they go off on a tangent and talk about what the players do on their off time, what elementary school they went to where they played peewee football, and then having to be forced to actually saying something about the game when something happens.

As a blue collar guy struggling to buy gas and groceries.... The thought of any media guy like this making 17 mil. A year.... Insanity.

Now if they could get Joe Buck off the air.

Man I wish there was a way to watch games with No commentary just the roars of the crowd

Might be rooted in not getting the cowboys playoff game. 🤔
