Last time i heard Mike speak on Floyd he called him a scared little man. Mike is deff in a good place right now giving is respects to Floyd years later. On another note. Floyd promised to make the mcgregor fight entertaining. He got so much backlash for the Pacquiao fight so he wanted to pay the fans back by entertaining the fight.

Floyd carried McGregor 10 rounds as a gift to the viewers and respect for their money. But when McGregor started being dirty with the rabbit punches, Floyd decided to take him out.

Imagine how much greater Floyd might have been without his hand injuries. But then again, his hand injuries might have played a part in him being motivated to develop his defensive skills to the level that he did. I’ve never boxed, so I’m making an educated guess that physical limitations might go a long way into shaping an individual fighter’s style. Notice that Floyd doesn’t throw punches in bunches the way that Sugar Ray Leonard did, even though he probably could. His hand injuries probably make it impossible to do so, but even so, it’s difficult to imagine any other welterweight from the past beating him, including all the greats from the 1980s. His defensive skills are just that good. If his hands were healthy enough to throw rapid multi punch combinations, there would be ZERO debate about who the GOAT actually is.

Tyson is the GOAT himself. He’s a humble man

It's true, Floyd is the absolutely greatest boxer in the past 100 years and in my opinion he's the greatest of all time, His haters cannot believe he is undefeated, they'll nitpick at anything they can but the facts are is he beat 26 of the most dominant world champions of his era, took less punches then any man in the sport while dishing punches with the highest accuracy percentage ever recorded for the amount of punches he threw. HIT AND NOT GET HIT IS THE SPORT OF BOXING! Some people like seeing knock out fighters but everyone LOVED watching Floyd because he boxed like a real artist, He was motherfuckin' picasso, an absolute spectacle in that ring. His PPV records speak for themselves. I am happy we witnessed such a legend in our era and who knows if there'll ever be a master class prodigy like Floyd ever again.

Mike you do know Floyd was barely using any of his skills vs Conor right? LOL No shell defense, no pull counters, no check left hooks etc etc... based on his standards.... he was PLAYING with him.

He probably meant "The Most Successful Boxer in the Last 100 Years", which is true.

Floyd's greater than Ali? Please. Ali's one win vs George Foreman is better than any win Floyd has. Ali's one win vs Liston is better than any win Floyd has. Ali beat Joe Frazier twice, Floyd Patterson twice, Ken Norton, Jerry Quarry, Archie Moore, Earnie Shavers, fought Larry Holmes when he had Parkinson's, and dominated arguably the greatest heavyweight era ever.

Ray Robinson went something like 80-0 before he finally lost. Ray Leonard's one win vs Prime Tommy Hearns is better than any win Floyd has.

Leonard also beat Duran twice, moved all the way up to middleweight and won a controversial decision over arguably the greatest middleweight ever in Marvin Hagler.

Floyd doesn't have ONE win over an all-time great while they were in their prime. Not one! Don't even get me started on Henry Armstrong, Duran, or the murderers row Holyfield had to go through in the 90's.

De la Hoya is not the goat, but his opponents faced is light years more difficult than Floyd's. Go look up all the killers de la hoya fought.

Floyd eeked by Maidana, arguably lost to Castillo in the first fight, eeked by a washed up Del la Hoya and eeked by a past prime Cotto but he's the best of the last 100 years?

Anyone who says Floyd's the greatest is either delusional, bias, or doesn't know the history of boxing.

Mayweather definitely is the best boxer in the last 100 years but, Connor did a great job whether he was carried or not. Nobody gets punched in the face on purpose. I do hope Connor stays focused on MMA. He's a pretty good at it when he's not distracted.

Not to be funny or anything but Floyd kept the fight going until that round, I remember watching him say he bet money to stop him in that round prior to the fight as well lol
