This is an Excellent video! Educational, Not biased, easy to follow, and entertaining. This should be shown to all U.S. Citizens and Students in Grades 5-12. I will share and use this video especially with my 7th Grade Students in Civics. All Highschool Seniors in Government Classes and college students across our nation should view it too! Even better, it should be shown on ALL News channels Every second Tuesday before the first Monday before the U.S. Presidential Election in November.

Historians have noted that another primary motivation of the framers in designing the Electoral College was the preservation of power by the slaveholding states. Without the Electoral College, Southern states almost certainly would have been outnumbered and outvoted in presidential elections. Due to the Three-Fifths Clause, the Electoral College system granted Southern states disproportionate congressional representation and therefore disproportionate power in choosing a president. This is a very important part of the history and legacy of the Electoral College that should be considered when it is debated by students. I was disappointed to discover no mention of this history in the video.

It's a shame that this hasn't been done away with all together. Each person's vote should count. If you live in a state with a low number then it's unfair.

California should just leave, it's probably best for both them and the voice of other states. Just an opinion
