The Texas A&M offense was dealt a heavy blow in what wound up being a costly 23-21 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. Senior wide receiver and team leader Ainias Smith suffered a fracture to his lower leg when it was rolled up on by his teammate quarterback Max Johnson who was tackled into his leg on a scramble.

Smith's absence is going to be felt throughout the offense and several young players will be forced to step up and replace the veteran's production.

Can Max Johnson lead the offense to success without his most reliable receiver?

No, what we really need is a new offense and an offensive coordinator. Jimbo’s offense is like the battleship in Naval warfare. It’s time to be retired. We are the worst offense in the entire SEC and one of the worst in the entire nation and it’s getting worse every year no matter who the quarterback is. What does that tell you? And Jimbo is not going to find an elite quarterback who wants to play his obsolete offense! ITS BEEN 5 YRS!!! That experiment already failed once. His name was Kellen Mond and we were anything but elite under Kellen Mond. Even in our best year, his senior year, we only beat two teams with a winning record! Auburn and LSU!!! Jimbo’s offense belongs in a football museum, not on Kyle field or any other field the Aggies are playing on. A lot of these pre-snap penalties are because these young players have too much to think about and are not having enough fun just using their talent and playing the football they excelled at in high school! Great players only last for three years now. What good is an offense they have to spend two years just learning about. DUH!!! This is not about great players not executing properly, it’s about an obsolete offense that is too difficult to execute! Every year our players get better and our offense gets worse. What does that tell you!? I’m tired of everyone making excuses for Jimbo. Jimbo is the problem!!! I think he can be a great head coach but he sucks as an offensive coordinator. His ideas have gone stale and the game has passed him by! And please Joey, FIX THE

You're really going to have to get new audio equipment. You are breaking up so bad it's irritating.
I do like your knowledge on the Aggies.
