So it’s the systems fault? Not the dumbass criminal who doesn’t value their own life enough to make a change? Typically you don’t get violated unless you commit a VIOLATION. I know this first hand, a person won’t change until they’re ready to change, system or no system it’s on the individual.

Mother of a murdered child here and the perpetrator is housed in San Quentin. Honestly, I feel like if they're going to let people out anyways it's better to rehabilitate them than just let them sit in there and get three Hots and a cot. Nobody that's been a victim wants the perpetrator released, but with the overflow of people filling the penitentiaries, something's got to give. So if they can rehabilitate some of them and it impacts the rate of recidivism and those that get out turn around and give back to the community instead of reoffend, then that's a good thing.
