Great idea-making video. I got 7 pallets (pretty cheaply) to make 2 conjoined bins. Pallets were all same size but slightly different designs.

I changed the door design in the video so they fold vertically. So, 4 strap hinges and 4 cabin hooks. Again, makes access easier.

I also use sturdier, heavy-duty, galvanised angle brackets from Cualityx. So, 16 of them with 8 4x40mm screws in each. So, it feels pretty sturdy.

Chicken wire is, I'd say, essential. I wired each pallet individually before assembling because access do do it all in one go would have been impossible. Used >1000 staples with an electric staple gun.

This is my favourite compost bin design after watching several tutorials. I'm going to try it on my allotment, thank you! My only criticism is at the beginning you said you need certain supplies, but as the tutorial went on it turned out more supplies were needed that weren't originally listed so I kept having to stop the video and check the total supplies needed. A list in the description would be great.

We made one of these too! We ended up weaving large branches through the pallet sides instead of using chicken wire... it's worked so far! I do however, wish I had seen this video for the idea of creating a half hinged front door!

this videos cinematography was amazing the presentation was great and the way he made it look so simple made me so exited about composting this is one of the best videos on this platform it is simple sleek and easy to understand and the way he used his surroundings to an advantage, the british estates with short fence walls make people and me feel like it is a smaller area thus creating a feeling of being at home as a child which comforts the viewer and making is seem more easy because of the homey urban envoirment.
