This year there is growing opposition to Saudi Arabia as host. Sunjeev will discuss specific campaign opportunities for targeting governments, businesses, and organizations that support the Saudi G20.
Sunjeev Bery is the Executive Director of Freedom Forward, where he works to end U.S. alliances with Saudi Arabia and other nondemocratic governments, including dictators, kings, and apartheid systems.
Before launching Freedom Forward, Bery was advocacy director for the Middle East and North Africa at Amnesty International USA. Prior to his time at Amnesty International, Bery served as a regional director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California.
His commentaries on U.S. foreign policy and human rights have appeared in a range of U.S. and global media, and he has made numerous appearances on U.S., European, and Middle Eastern television, radio, and other news outlets.
A webinar held on June 10, 2020 sponsored by the Raytheon Anti-war Campaign and Mass. Peace Action's Middle East Working Group
