The new AfterShokz Aeropex headphones have just been released. This video covers the experience of using them at the gym, running outside, cycling outside, and riding my Peloton. The Aeropex use bone conduction technology to transmit vibrations directly to your inner ear. There are some positives to this like the open ear design but also negatives.

I like your honesty especially when you said a lot of riders that are faster pass you on the track. Such a humble man. Stay safe out there and keep making quality videos as I thoroughly enjoyed this one. 👍

As a completely blind person with a conductive hearing issue, I have to use these in order to hear a stereo recording. If you block your ears, the audio quality will greatly improve. The bass will come through, and these will sound extremely rich.

I love running, I love music, but I don't love mashing things inside my ear canal. I think I'll get a pair of these.

Did you record this video using the built-in microphone in the headphones? If, so the voice clarity is great. If not, can you comment on making phone calls with these headphones?

Nice review! This concept was tried 70's and they were not very good. I think they were called Bone Phones. Also, have you seen the Sonitus system? It attaches to your molar and allows for two way communications as well.
Also you mentioned having good SA lol

I hear people mentioning loud beeps when you press the buttons on the headphone, so loud that they hurt your ears. Is this true in your experience?

Rice review. Like you, I workout by myself. Would you still recommend these at the gym? I'm also an avid runner. I can't spend $400+ for both these and power beats 😁

If anyone is a worker that works outside or in loud situation i have to say these headphones are 10/10.
in my line of work (lawn care), being able to listen to music and have proper ear protection in the form of earplugs is amazing, when you put in ear plugs it significantly increases the sound quality.
I also wear glasses and a hat with these on with no problems at all, highly highly enjoy these

Tried them and I'm not impressed. The beeps are overly loud. And Living in a populous city means that there are times when there's too much loud disruptive noise around and will have to put these up to the max to compete with the other sounds which then damages your hearing. These are best for people who live in suburbs or don't ever leave home. I'll wait a couple of years till someone comes out with an earbud/bone conduction hybrid that allows you to toggle between noise cancelling and bone conduction.
