I help build a few "Log Homes", Real Logs tho, but it was actually kind of Fun... most of them were numbered or piled together and you put it together just like Lincoln Log Set... And the foreman told me how they did this study, built them in all kinds of diff climates, and they were all like 30% Warmer, 60% cooler, (or something like that) than reg houses, upkeep was way cheaper too, almost non existant, no painting or siding, maybe some poly u on it... the older they got, the better they looked, ya know, and so much easier to build than regular houses... all around just a better House!

Coat the edges with bees wax and they will fit and seal much easier.
